Wall Anchor Systems

Wall anchors systems consist of galvanized steel earth anchors that are embedded into the soil out away from your foundation wall. This makes them strong enough to hold walls in their positions without anymore adjustment needed. They can even be tightened during dry periods, allowing the wall to be straightened over time rather than just holding it in place so it no longer moves. 

Wall anchors are installed by digging a small hole in the soil away from your home’s foundation. A steel rod is drilled through a one-inch hole in the basement wall and is connected to an earth anchor within the hole. A low-profile wall plate placed on the interior of the basement wall is secured to the rod. Then the hole is backfilled and the sod replaced. Once all the components of the wall anchor system are connected and tightened, your basement wall is permanently stabilized. 

Wall Anchors are a versatile way to fix a variety of issues with your foundation walls. This includes bowing walls, walls tipping in at the top, and walls pushing at the bottom. They are also installed independently from your floor system and are a good choice for many reasons.

Such as:

- They give you the best chance of straightening your wall over time 

- Can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, conduits, vanities, sinks toilets ect. 

- Present minimal disturbance from installation 

- They solve the problem and stabilize the foundation 

Do NOT use wall anchors if you’re in an area where homes are only a few feet apart as there needs to be several feet of accessible area outside your home.
