THE FOUNDATION GUYS

By times a trickle of water would come into our basement easily vacuumed up, then after digging up the main sewer to clear it from the tree roots, the town of Smiths falls refused to re-attach the weeping tiles.

The resulting flood after a light rain kept my daughter and myself manning two vacs sucking it up all night barely keeping up.

Without your help...prompt help I should add, our basement would have been totally flooded by now.

My daughter, smart daughter I should add, contacted you and thanks to prioritizing our dire need, we are sitting high and dry.

I am laughing and say "I worked hard for my money and now my money is working hard for me...bailing me out you might say.

Abandoning our house after 33 years would have been a heart break, but without the waterproofing it seemed the only option.

Mike, dillon and Victor worked and worked dragging 5 gallon pails of cement up the stairs one by one. Amazing men those guys.

Attic Insulation project in Burrit Rapids, Ontario

A home owner in Burritt Rapids, Ontario, faced challenges with maintaining consistent warmth in their home during the colder month. The attic insulation, consisting of outdated woodchips from the original construction, was no longer effective. What we did was remove the old insulation. The old woodchip insulation was carefully removed, creating a clean slate to be updated. This process was allowed for the inspection of the attic structure and to identify any gaps or problems areas.

After removing the old woodchip insulation, we air sealed any areas that were of concern. To prevent air leaks and drafts, all gaps, cracks, and penetrations in the attic were sealed using high quality materials like Zip Foam. This crucial step ensured that the new cellulose insulation would perform at it's highest efficiency.

The attic was reinsulated using our premium cellulose insulation. This material was evenly applied to achieve a high R-Value, Significantly improving the attic's thermal resistance. The insulation also provided excellent soundproofing and eco-friendly benefits.

The insulation upgrade brought the attic's R-value up to modern standard building code, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and comfort.
